Please note: All scholarships are available only to traditional students in traditional programs unless otherwise specified.
Armold, Dr. Jack David Scholarship
- Established by Jack D. Armold, Ph.D., and funded by the sales of performance tapes of the Pilgrim’s Progress presentation by Dr. Armold
- Provides awards to Speech Communication majors with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Any classification eligible to apply
- If candidates are not available, funds may be awarded to deserving students majoring in [1] English, and [2] history

Coburn, Annette Dipboye Scholarship – Drama
- Established by Thurman Coburn, Ph.D., husband
- Restricted to upper-division students in Speech Communications
- 1st preference for students interested in Drama or teaching Drama

Emmel, Robert & Naomi Bolerjack Scholarship
- Established by Naomi Emmel, and the friends of Dr. Robert Emmel
- Restricted to Junior and Senior level Speech majors
- Must have a verifiable financial need

Matson, E. Boyd Scholarship
- Established and funded by E. Boyd Matson
- Provides funds for Speech Communication students with a preference for TV/Broadcasting majors
- Any classification eligible to apply

Murrow, Dr. Wayne L. Scholarship
- Established and funded by the friends and former students of Dr. Wayne Murrow
- Provides general awards to students majoring in Speech Communication
- Minimum 2.5 GPA

- Established by Dr. Joy Beaver, and the family of Doris Schumann
- Upper Division Speech Communication Major
- Preference in Drama
